I have spent over 58 years as an astrologer. In addition to my extensive background as an astrologer (consultant, teacher, programmer, author, and theorist), I have run a Tibetan Buddhist dharma center since the 1980s, been to Tibet a number of times, and have practiced Vajrayana Buddhism and meditation for over 40 years. These two disciplines, astrology and dharma, reflect on one another.
I would like to pass on some of what I have learned through astrology to others. Since I am getting older, this seems like a good opportunity to do that. Over the years I have taught classes, spent years making a living as a counselor, written many books, and more. Spend an hour with me as I share with you what I feel is important in our field to know.

Drawing on her award-winning astrological research on astrology and education, Alex will demonstrate the link between addiction, violence and neurological developments in a variety of case studies. This is supported by some very startling results from her statistical analysis of the 20,000 entries in her behaviour database. Her critical analysis of the "modern" educational system (which has changed very littled since the 19th century) is based on years of teaching in a conventional classroom. Her study creates a compelling argument for using astrology as a catalyst for educational reform.
Alex’s lecture is highly recommended viewing for parents, teachers and other authority figures as well as anyone else who thinks it’s time to pay a little more attention to what is happening in our schools.
The title of my talk has evolved into the “Co-emergence of Quantum Mechanics and Depth Psychology as They Relate to the Jupiter-Uranus and Uranus-Pluto Cycles”. In this talk we will explore the striking number of Jupiter-Uranus and Uranus-Pluto alignments we find at the significant milestones in the history quantum mechanics and in the natal charts of the scientists who conducted them. We will also look at the key moments in the evolution of depth psychology leading to the development of archetypal astrology. The talk will end with speculative discussion on what the insights from quantum mechanics and archetypal historiography say about the Wolfgang Pauli-C.G. Jung dialogue on the psycho-physical or mind-body problem.
