Planetary Archetypes exist within and outside us as symbols, originally based on mother/Moon and father/Sun, and carry multiple layers of meaning. Symbolic thinking taps into unconscious mythic layers of being, triggered into development at certain times and patterns. As mutable, contradictory, and magical, they return us to our origins. Jung’s “collective unconscious” is our gestation, which we will explore here. We choose our forms and change those choices through time and our paths of development.
