Family patterns get transmitted astrologically through signs, planets, and aspect patterns. As adults, we may hope to emulate one parent or the other or vow never to be that way. We may swear we’ll never marry anyone like our mother or father only to discover similarities long after the wedding date. Parents may favor the child who most resembles them, or have trouble seeing their characteristics reflected back. Astrology helps us understand why.
