Where do astrologers go when they read a chart? A sacred place? An insightful place? What are the benefits of being in such a space? This lecture explores the phenomenon of the consultation space as described by astrologers I interviewed in 2015-16, all of whom have twenty-five years or more experience as professional astrologers.

NOTE: as this is ongoing work regarding how astrologers investigate what it is we do, I have also included the published paper of previous work I have done in the field on how astrologers read charts.
