Western sidereal astrology is based on the Babylonian sidereal zodiac, the original zodiac. Cyril Fagan, an Irish astrological scholar, introduced the Babylonian zodiac to the West in 1944, after he had studied the ancient astronomical materials excavated from the Near and Middle East. An increasing number of western astrologers now use this type of astrology for accurate interpretations and predictions. This talk will provide an overview of the history and rationale of western sidereal astrology.
